Community of Grace attempts to create and sustain something like home and family with and for people who have long since lost their own home, or even never really had one, and to keep up that attempt with each individual for as long as he needs.
Community of Grace is made up of Fellows and Companions who work together to honour and carry on the work at the community.
An allotment society based in Evington with over 160 plots and composting toilet facilities.
They have a range of plots and support available for people who want to learn to grow.
In 2021 they are developing starter plots and supporting the RHS In Your Neighbourhood groups to grow plants for the community.
Downing Drive is where the second parade of shops is in Evington. With the support of Cafe Blends and Tesco the IYN group creates and maintains planters and the shrub border and litter picks the area.
Evington Village Green is a lovely space at the heart of the village that is used regular for relaxing, playing, dog walking and our fantastic Evington Village Fete.
The Village Green IYN maintains the large perennial flower beds and keeps the place looking inviting and cheerful.

Horston Hill, Leicester is looking the hill that goes down from Evington Drive towards the city centre.
The local It's Your Neighbourhood Group maintain the beds and try and make the environment better for the wildlife and people who live there.
We formed in 2013 when a few passionate people came together to create a place of sanctuary that would help people connect with each other and the land. We demonstrate a model for sustainable livelihood – that is, to make a living without damaging the health of the environment, the economy, the community or the individual.
RHS has said we are an outstanding project!
Wycliffe URC is in the heart of the Evington village opposite the park.
It offers a Place of Welcome to everyone to drop in and have a cuppa and bowl of soup.
The church also hosts GraceWorks Community Garden, where we grow food and plants for the IYN groups.
